Excel - Cursor jumping

I am in excel, typing within a cell, when my cursor will jump randomly within the same cell towards home position.  How can I make this stop?

    Hi Karen, how are you, thanks for posting in our microsoft community. I suggest that you repair office to resolve the issue. To do this follow these steps:

    First open Control Panel > Programs and Features > Now click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications > Then click Change > And click Repair (choose the Online Repair)
