In case it helps anyone, same here but my case was because an intermediary process was URL escaping the // and ? in my href.
Once I wrote a valid https:// (non URL escaped) link it worked properly.

Hi Team,

Using email on acid to test some HTMLs and noticed that all outlook/hotmail/live accounts are not able to interpret hyperlink/anchor tags correctly? Customers of live/hotmail complain that email is not formatted properly. What is the solution for this? Is there anything that can be included in the header to interpret these tags correctly ? Shows same in all browsers.

Please kindly understand under Outlook tag, we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client. So I would remove the Outlook tag under your post, thanks for your understanding.
For your issue, could any other accounts see this hyperlink normally in their web mail (such as Gmail or others)? If the issue could be reproduced on other accounts, it may be related to your HTML code and hyperlink instead of account, it’s recommended to post it in relevant html development forum to get more assistance.

2021-08-05T14:01:17.233+00:00 It works in Gmail, Apple Mail, AOL and everywhere even in outlook desktop client. It is only with Outlook Web/Live. Could you redirect or tag people/product/feature and notify who can assist? It is a simple anchor tag, anybody can easily re-produce it for testing. This issue is with Outlook web app not able to render a simple HTML link, I'm not sure why I would go to HTML forum.

I am having a similar issue. Outlook web client is not even rendering an anchor tag that is in the html. It's just completely removing it.
