Hang on While This Page Syncs...

I keep getting this message on one page in my onenote - Hang on while this page syncs... we're waiting for another device to finish uploading your notes.  Problem is, I am using the device that I used to update the page.  If I go to the other devices I own they all give the same message - even the OneNote online does the same thing (well the message there is "Content not yet available. It looks like this page was added from another device and is hasn't synced yet).  Online then prompts me to open it through OneNote, which opens the app on my computer and I get the Hang On message again.

Every other person that I have seen complain about this never posted an answer that worked.  

I have tried Online, the App and OneNote 2016.  I have used my phone, my laptop and my desktop to try and access and all give the same results.  The notebook is saved to the cloud - I don't seem to have a local file I can mess with.  And it is just one page within a section (the rest of the section works fine).

    Hi Brian,

    In line with the message that you’re encountering when accessing a page of your OneNote notebook, I’d recommend checking this article and you may perform the steps that you haven’t done yet. It may fix the issue when you can't sync OneNote. 

    Following the methods from the article should be able to address this concern. However, if the issue still persists, you may take advantage of the benefits and features of your Office 365 subscription by reaching out with our Office Support through this link. They can provide immediate assistance and do remote access for further troubleshooting.
