Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi JP_734,
Based on your description, I did a lot of test and research about the Office 365 shared mailbox, here are some short answers for your questions below:
Answer 1: Yes, a shared mailbox can have multiple calendars inside it. To accomplish it, you must be one of the member to the shared mailbox and have full access to the shared mailbox, then you can try to use the feature “ open another mailbox” in the OWA ( https://outlook.office365.com/owa/) to open the shared mailbox and create calendars for the shared mailbox there.
Answer 2: Based on my test, if you are the member and have the related access permission, you can try to create some calendars, however there is no Microsoft Official documentation on if there is a limit for the number of the calendars inside one shard mailbox. For my test, I created three calendars, they are OK.
Answers 3: As the official document said we can use the shard mailbox generated calendar, and it doesn’t mention for multiple calendars. As far as I know, sometimes these calendars may cause confusion for the members of the shared mailbox. So it is recommended that just use the default shared calendar. If you need other calendars, you can try to create some shared mailboxes to meet your requirements, thanks.
Answers4 : For the members of the shared mailbox and they have full access permissions to this shared mailbox, they have the same permissions to these shared calendars. However, you can shared individual permission to other users who are not the members of this shared mailbox ( don’t have permissions to the shared mailbox) but they are the insider users of your organization.
If you have any other concern, please feel free to let me know.
Regards,
Oliver
