Hi,

I have a question regarding how to set default referecens in VBA Excel.

As you can see the image below, by default, it will auto check four references whenever I create a new excel file. I will like to uncheck OLE Automation and Microsoft Office 16.0 Object Library as I dont use it. How to make it as uncheck as default as it will be hassle to uncheck for every excel file I used. Thanks.

    Hi WaiHong_Ng,

Based on your description, you tend to change default Reference in VBA Editor without OLE Automation and Microsoft Office 16.0 Object Library. I also found a similar thread for Office 2010 to create a macro-enabled template for Excel. Based on my test, the solution also works on Office 365 Excel client when you open the created template file on Excel client next time. You can check here for more details to achieve that.

    Best regards,

    Dihao

    Hi WaiHong_Ng,

Did you try the method above to create a macro-enabled template? Dose the default references be changed? If you have any other concern, please reply here and share the detail with us.

    Best regards,
