Visio - Issues

Question

Hello,

Visio - I use Visio often and over the last two months each time I try and open a drawing all my recent drawings and templates open. This also causes the programme to crash. Why is this occurring and how can I resolve this issue please?

Sorry about the late reply here. We totally understand your frustration on this issue.

I've checked the same version as yours, but I didn't encounter the issue. Per your saying if the issue persist under the safe mode, it might be caused by the corrupted software component.

In this kind of situation, I would suggest you use online repair to fix all the Office components. If it doesn't help in your scenario, please consider reinstall your Visio.

Hi Alex,

Thanks the version is 1808

When I open Visio first of all it is fine. When I open a drawing it causes all of the recent drawings to open and the individual stencils.

This also happens in Safe mode. I have to fight with the machine to close the multiple of stencils that are open and the drawings that I am not working on.

1.Please share us a screenshot of the Visio version you are currently running on.

2.Does this issue occur when you are trying to open a specific drawing? Or all of the drawing?

3.Please run the Visio in Safe mode, see if the issue persist.
