Custom Tab (create using RibbonXML) Does Not Show Up in "Customize Ribbon" Main Tabs Dialog

Hello everone,

I just noticed that custom tabs that I create using the RibbonXML and the CustomUI Editor do not appear in the built-in "Customize Ribbon" Main Tabs dialog.  These tabs appear on the ribbon and are fully functional.

The problem with this is, if I want to share (export) my customized ribbons, I only share the ribbons which are not created by the Custom UI Editor.

I hope somebody has an idea how to fix this problem, so that I can share all my ribbons to other people.

Thank you for your answers!

Best Regards

Dan

The ribbon customization created by the use of the CustomUI Editor will be saved in a template that is normally saved in the Word Startup folder so that it is added as a global add-in.  If you want to share those customizations, you need to share a copy of that template.
