I have Microsoft Office Excel 2016 for Mac, and when I opened the spreadsheet from my company, the pop up box said: "Compile error in hidden module: 'UserForm1'. This error commonly occurs when code is incompatible with the version, platform, or architecture of this application. Is there any alternative to fix this problem? Thanks in advance for your help :)

    Hi

I suppose it depends on your role at the company and how important it is for the macros in the workbook to work.

The error message indicates there is an error in the macro programming code. Do you want to fix it yourself? Generally, an untrapped error of this sort indicates that whomever wrote the macro was inexperienced in writing good code. Do you know who made the macro? Are they up to the task of troubleshooting their work and fixing it?
