Split from this thread.

Hi!

I am having the same problem accessing my organization's Sharepoint page. I have taken it to our IT department and they have advised me to use Internet Explorer, where Sharepoint works fine, but I really prefer to continue using Google Chrome. There seem to be three links on one page where it tells me "Something Went Wrong" and then lists these Technical Details:

Something went wrong

If the problem persists, contact the site administrator and give them the information in Technical Details.

According to your description, it seems that it works fine when you open the SharePoint site in Internet Explorer. If so, this issue may be related the Chrome browser instead of SharePoint site.

Except Msft promises SPO will work in the "latest" few versions of a browser (5 I think?). If it isn't working as promised,  this is grounds for a refund under the sla until it's fixed. Submit a service request to substantiate your claim and then file for a refund.

    Hi Kathryn,

Thank you for your message in this forum.

According to your description, it seems that it works fine when you open the SharePoint site in Internet Explorer. If so, this issue may be related the Chrome browser instead of SharePoint site.

For Google Chrome, we’d give you some suggestions below and hope that will help you:

    1. According this article: Browse in private. You can try using InPrivate browser and check if the problem will occur. This will avoid Google Chrome remember your activity.
    2. You can clear Browser cache according to this article: How To Clear Browser Cache In Google Chrome. At the same time, you can refer to this article: How to Remove Addons from Google Chrome to check if the same problem will occur.
    3. If the suggestions above don’t work, you can also refer to this article: How to completely reset Google Chrome to reset Google Chrome to check if the same problem will occur.

    Best Regards,

    Sukie
