xlfn error

Hi all

I wonder if anyone can help, I downloaded a the excel file from here with a view to working through/learning about array formulae, however when I open the file I get the #NAME? error, upon further investigation the cell contents are =TEXT(DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),_xlfn.SEQUENCE(1,5),1),"mmmm").

I understand that it maybe a compatibility issue with my version of Excel and hence it is showing _xlfn in front of some functions, but not all.

My computer is 64bit I7 processor, windows 10 pro and my version of office is 365 ProPlus, Excel is version 1905 build 11629.20246.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this issue, it has got me stumped.

    Hi Climbingjack

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

The error is because of SEQUENCE function which is not available on your Excel. I am not sure whether this has been rolled out to all Office 365 subscribers or not. As of 24-Sep-18 documentation, this function is available only to select users of Office Insiders.
