CSV File export/open issues

Hi,

Hope you can help me with this one. Usually I export huge amount of data from salesforce in CSV format and until today no issues, but now, out of nowhere when I open the exported data, the first row (headlines) is ok but the data it self breaks in into two columns, like 360 characters on column A and the 25 characters in Column B. Super awkward, How can I solve this, as I don't want to have the extra step of combining the columns data in one?

Also, as an additional question, some of my colleagues doing the exact same export when open the csv file it already comes in separated by columns but a couple of other users including me, we always have to convert text to columns. How is this possible and is there any configuration we can plug-in to avoid the extra step of converting text to columns?

Thank you.

I understand, Pedro. As an initial recommendation, I suggest that you run a repair your Excel application. Kindly follow the steps provided in this article.

    Hi Jomel,

Can't share the file or sample as it's classified data. Still, is there any workaround or configuration on excel I can read about?

    Thanks.
