Shared mailbox - license for php script

Hello,

we have shared mailbox at Exchange online, users who access this mailbox are all assigned licenses and have their personal mailboxes.

But we have php script that sorts incoming messages in this mailbox. Does this script need extra license with its own mailbox (that will never be used)

or can it access directly to this shared mailbox?

Script is located on our server, we are in full control of it. Script will not send mails, we only need to manage a lot of incoming mails.

Thanks.

Hi Jane,

From my understanding, you won't need the license if the script is from VBA.

Best regards,

Nemanja

    Thank you.

I have asked on the forum you suggested.

Though I am more interested in licensing info so I am not sure if they will answer my question.

    Regards

    Jane
