Using a Windows Media Player Object

I used the Developer tab in Word to add a Windows Media Player object into my document. I can resize the object while in design mode. I added a video file to it of a short mp4 clip. When I exit design mode and play the clip, it automatically resizes itself and I can't change it. Is there any setting so that the clip stays whatever size I set the object?

Also set the row height to an exact figure and in the Properties dialog for the Media Player Object, set the stretchToFit to False.

Try inserting the object so that it is in-line with text inside a one cell table that has fixed dimensions by setting the preferred width and in the Options dialog, remove the checkmark from the "Automatically resize to fit contents.

    Hi Jesse,

Please don’t be alarmed if your window doesn’t show up the same way you set it up, you need to click Design Mode again in order to exit it and view your video. The video can take a few moments to load.

Please follow the instruction in below link

    Thank you

I followed the directions but the video still resizes along with the table even though "automatically resize to fit contents" option is unchecked.
