PLEASE someone help me.

I'm a senior citizen and not that computer savvy.

I wrote a Word Document and when I go back in to add/delete it says, " Compile Error in Hidden Module"!  I have NO idea what that is, can someone PLEASE get back to me to tell me what I need to do so I can go on.

Please write me at:

Thank you so very much

I don't know which to mark below, it's my personal Word.

The usual suspect in this error is the add-in for the Avery label wizard, which contains a macro with a programming error. Please read https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-word/how-do-i-clear-error-compile-in-hidden-module for instructions to remove the offending add-in.

Does the problem still occur if you start Word in Safe Mode by holding down the CTRL key while starting it until asked to confirm that you want to start it in that mode?

If not, see the section dealing with Add-Ins in the KnowledgeBase article "How to troubleshoot problems that occur when you start or use Word" at:
