OneNote Sync Error 0xE40200AA

My personal Note Book keeps reporting sync failures, but if I enter the OneNote URL on BT Cloud, the content is there and my latest information is there. Tried finding out what the Sync error means, but code is not listed.  My Work OneNote syncs OK. So can't understand the error.  Can anyone help please?  Could it be some settings on BT Cloud causing this error report?

    Hi Neo,

Thank you very ,much for responding to my query.

I have followed your advise on checking my account in OneNote Online, and I can see all my OneNote files, and they all seems to be fully up-to-date.

I tried the other things you advised for obtaining the detailed version number of my OS. but after typing Win+R>, CMD and OK, not sure how I would proceed from there.

However, having checked the Online access, I am satisfied that it may be something to do with my PC build, or my local network, or my client application on my PC.  I think I'll just live with it for now, and perhaps use the online version more.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance, it is very much appreciated, and nice to speak with you.

    Thank you.

    Regards

    Tony Lau

    Hi T-Lau,

To confirm if your notebooks have been synced normally, please sign in your account in OneNote Online to check it. If you can find your latest contents there(it should be since you can find them on BT Cloud), that means all your contents have been synced successfully.

If you can find your latest contents, to avoid this error message, you can close your notebook from OneNote client then open it again to see the outcome. Please have a try and share with me your outcome.

Besides, to have a better understanding of your scenario, please share with me more info as below to let help you:

1.Screenshot of the detailed version number of your OS(Click Win+R>type CMD>OK) and Office(File>Account>Product Information e.g. 180x build xxx).

    2.Screenshot of the error message.

    Regards,

    Neo
