Import from Excel Blank Rows

Hi,

I have been trying to export an excel list into SPO. Each time SP creates the list and columns and begins the task of importing the records

The records pull in to SPO but there is no data for any of the records, everything is empty. I am only importing text (no complicated columns etc).

I've tried with 10K records and get this issue; is there a limit on the number of records I can import? I potentially need to import 123k records in to a list in the future; is this not achievable?

Thanks,

Chris

    Hi Chris Green,

    Sorry for my late reply.

From this article: Manage large lists and libraries in SharePoint, we know that user can store up to 30 million items in a SharePoint list. But from Create a list based on a spreadsheet, we cannot find a limit record that user can import. Therefore you should be able to import 123k records to SharePoint in the future.

I've tried to import 10k records to SharePoint, unfortunately I cannot reproduce this issue as you. I would like to give you some suggestions as below:

    1. Follow the steps in this article and try to import these records again, avoid making mistakes during doing these steps.
    2. If you choose Table Range when you import previously, try to choose Range of Cells then select range manually to import to see the results.
    3. Try to create a new sample file with 10k test records and import to SharPoint to see the outcomes.

If issue persists, would you mind sending me the test sample file via Private Message(PM)?

You can click here to send the sample Excel file via private message.

    Best Regards,

    Hugo
