I purchased my computer in the USA however am an Australian and work with A4 as my default paper size. When I open Excel it defaults to 8.5x11 as the paper size of choice.
I have changed all regional settings on my computer to Australian and created a new A4 workbook template saved under the XLStart locations for both ‘Excel StartUp’ and ‘User StartUp’. However, when I open Excel it still defaults
to opening as an 8.5x11 workbook. I have also created a new template and referenced it under the Excel Options > Advanced> General > At startup, open all files in option. I have also confirmed that when I open the template it opens as an A4 wookbook.
Many of the answers I find when I google the problem attempt to address this by changing the paper size at the printer settings or through auto-scaling however this is not effective for when I email a file as the new user also opens
the file in 8.5x11.
Can anyone tell me how to change the default paper size in any other manor?
I am using Excel of Office 365 MSO 16 32-Bit.
