View Tab grayed out

I was working away on a Word Document (Office 365) and all of a sudden the screen flashed and the appearance changed.  I suspected I may have clicked on something by mistake, but I cannot figure out what.  My document is "stuck" on multiple pages.   I am unable to use many of the options on the View Tab because they are grayed out

 this is what it looks like.  This does not look like Word For 365.

On the View ribbon, you have set Movement to 'Side to Side'

Change that to Vertical and those options will become enabled again . . .
