Change Default Save Location Mac

In the latest update my Word, PowerPoint, and Excel programs have changed my default save location for new files. My default was saving new files to my desktop, but now it keeps trying to push saving to OneDrive, which I do not want to use. How do I set my default for new files back to on my desktop?

'Documents' is not an option for me under 'File types'.

    Hi Hugh,

Try sign out your Microsoft account in Word and see if there is any improvement.

If the issue persists, try stop sync the folder in OneDrive and reconnect.

It's more likely a BUG in OneDrive,  please click on the small smiley-face icon in the upper right corner of the program window. Choose Tell Us What Can Be Better and describe the problem in detail.
