Developer Text box display problem in slide show

I have used Developer mode text boxes to write on slides during slide shows for years. I recently switched from Office 2010 to Office 365 on Windows 10. Now when I put my deck into slide show mode I get a "double vision" effect on my Developer text boxes. There are now 2 sets of boxes displayed in slide show, whereas there is only one set on the actual slide. The new phantom set of boxes displays up and to the left of the real boxes.  I have tried to develop a new slide from scratch with the Developer text box, but get the same result. Any suggestion to cure this problem, or a workaround?

Thanks for the suggestions John. The hardware graphics accelerator was already disabled, and my computer is up to date according to the manufacturer. Any other ideas?

You can visit the web site of your computer manufacturer to see if there is a recent Windows 10 driver for your model.

You may also be able to solve the problem by opening File>Options>Advanced, scrolling to the Display section and checking Disable Slide Show hardware graphics acceleration.

Also not likely to help but it might be worth posting an affected slide somewhere downloadable so people can take a look

I doubt it will help, but you could checking both options to disable graphics acceleration. It's a video driver problem, but if there's no newer driver there's little else you can do.
