Microsoft To-Do Notifications

Can anyone clarify whether MS To-Do users receive notifications? For example, if I create a list and assign someone to a task, shouldn't they be notified? As far as I can tell, the person on the other end doesn't receive any notifications which makes no sense to me. How would that person ever know, other than hanging out in the app 24/7 and continually checking, if a task has been assigned to them if they aren't notified? Does this only work if a due date is assigned? This would make some sense but is not useful in every case. Someone should be notified that a task has been assigned to him/her - whether or not a due date has been specified.

    Dear ggwells,

Thanks for participating in the Microsoft Community. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll help you.

Yes, you totally right, I had the same question some time ago, we need this feature, we need notifications for incoming tasks when we are part of a Shared task list group, but unfortunately is not available at this moment, Microsoft has to improve notifications for a "shared task list group".

I suggest you to send your feedback to To-Do UserVoice, production groups always see ideas and suggestion from community users:

Do not hesitate to ask if you need more information.

I hope it has been useful to you.

    Regards,

    Renzo.
