Shared document not opening properly

I have a word document on OneDrive which is shared with one other user. The other user said that when he tried to open the document file on his PC, the later half of the document is missing.

More specifically, the document has 74 pages but it only shows up to page 48 in the other user's PC application. The document opens in full for both my desktop application and the other user's web browser. The problem only happens with his PC app.

    Hi Doug,

No formats are hidden. I am working remotely with the other guy and he is not very savvy, so just to keep the conversation simple I haven't run the toggle test with him.

The document is unfortunately not shareable with you as it contains copyright material.

One test we ran was this: He opened the document on the cloud, downloaded a copy, and opened it on his PC app, and it worked. However, when he tried to open the original document directly from the OneDrive folder, it only showed up to page 42 (out of 82). Is there anything which might explain and fix this bug?

    Thanks again.

Does the document contain any text that is formatted as hidden?

If the other user uses ALT+F9 to toggle on the display of the field codes in the document, does he then see something different as far as the amount of text in the document is concerned?

If you cannot sort it out, if you send me a copy of the document, referencing this thread in the covering email message, I will investigate the issue.
