For some reason, my inbox is much more compressed and stylized in a technical format, rather than the outbox, which has remained the same with the larger sections.

I'm not sure why this is, and trying to use all the options under 'view' have not worked.

I just want to revert the folders that are compressed back to the normal formatting, and for the life of me I can not figure out how.

Please help!

Edit: the top image is my outbox, with the large format, and the bottom is the compressed veiw.

    Hi anonymous user-8867,

What's the version of your Outlook client(File>Office account>About Outlook)?
And what's the specific view that you are working with your Inbox folder(Change view> Compact, Single, Preview)?

I could reproduce your issue when I swtch to Single view in Outlook 365 like below, if it's your case, please try to change to Compact view or others to check if there are any differences after that.

I'm running into the same issue. Each inbox and sub folder is set up different. It also reverts back when I close out. Other than just changing the view for all inboxes (even sent), is there a larger control to have a default option for all inboxes?
