I can not login in to any Office 365 program with my student account. To work with onedrive I have to be able to login. The Screenshot below shows the error message with the error Code 80070520 after trying to login to word. I have Windows 10 on my laptop. I have already reinstalled Office 365 and also done the repair mode but the error is still there.

    Hi Joël_28,

    Fix:1

Based on the link provided in your error message, we encountered the article regarding troubleshooting hybrid Azure Active Directory joined Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.

We assume that this domain account is synced to Azure AD, hence the suggestion to get more assistance in the Azure forum. However, even if it's not, your Office 365 account uses Azure to manage user identities behind the scenes, so if you're using Office 365, you're using Azure.

As the error implies a session error with Azure, we'd still suggest posting there to see if there are any suggestion that can help.

In the meantime, we did some further research and found a suggestion that might help:

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    • Click on it and select Run Troubleshooter
    • Wait for the scan to finish. If there are any problems and violations, the system will let you know and offer a fix.

Fix 3: Delete Windows Store Cache

Sometimes the cached files in Windows Store result in the error code 0x80070520 and clearing the cache can fix the problem.

    • Press Windows key or open Windows Start, then type wsreset in the search bar
    • Right-click on wsreset.exe and select Run as Administrator
    • This will clean the Windows Store cache. Make sure you don’t press anything while the command prompt is working.
    • Windows Store will open when it’s been reset and you should restart your PC.

    Hi Qing

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I removed all credentials about Office but the error is still there.

    1. My version: Office 365 MSO (16.0.11328.20438) 64-Bit
    2. I can sign into Office 365 Portal with my account.
    3. Friends who study with me can sign into my office programms on my laptop with their accounts and have not the error. So I think there can be an issue about my account with office 365.
    4. The issue occur before 3 weeks. I have not taken any operation before to my knowledge.

    Regards,

    Joël
