    Hi Deepa_403,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

There are many ressons can cause the crash. We want to help so we suggest you try these steps to narrow down this cause.

    1. Run Excel in safe mode to avoid the add-ins effects. (We understand you have tried disabling add-ins, but you can have a try again, please follow the steps in article.)
    2. Try Online Repair, it can fix some issue.
    3. Try to use the latest version of Office. Go to File-> Account-> Update Options-> Update Now.

If the issue still persists, we need to collect more information about it:

    1. Can you provide the full screenshot of the Excel-> File-> Account-> Product Information page for us?
    2. Is the issue related to all files or some specific files (e.g. files with VBA code or stored in cloud storage)?
    3. Which action lead to the crash? Alike Open or Save?

Meantime, you have some help in this article:Excel not responding, hangs, freezes or stops working

    Best Regards,

    Ivy

    Hi Deepa_403,

    Thanks for the further information.

Per your description, issue happen with the files which store in network drive. And Excel will crash when editing them.  To narrow down this issue, we suggest you try these steps:

    1.  Save these files in your PC. And open them from your local path to check if the issue is related to network path.

    1.  If issue still, try to let your colleagues edit the same problematic file. To check if the issue related to specific PC.
    2. Copy the content of the problematic file to a new worksheet to see if the issue persists or not.

Please don’t mind that we need to see the full screenshot of Product Information. If you are not the latest version, please update your Office. Appreciated for your cooperation.

    Regards,

    Ivy
