When I copy and paste

When I copy and paste any text from any source, microsoft office "double-spaces" it.

I am forced to select pasted text , then go to home drop down window. then to line spacing,

then I activate remove space from paragraph.  There has to be a simpler way of maintaining

the integrity of pasted text.

The text may be pasting as single-line paragraphs. In that case, you will have to delete the paragraph marks (represented by pilcrows, ¶) at the end of each single-line paragraph. For more, see http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/CleanWebText.htm.
