Applying rules on a shared folder

Hello

I have one shared office365 mailbox that I would like to apply a rule to.

On the mailbox I have created a specific subfolder and named it, say "xxx".

The point of this is, whenever the mailbox receives an email from ******@xxx.dk, the mailbox should automatically move that email to the "xxx" subfolder instead of keeping it in "inbox".

But I want this rule to be server side. Because I have many customers who have access to this shared mailbox.

Anyone who can help?

Hi DKK_99,

My pleasure.

Since then you can use "specific words in the senders address" as the inbox rule condition. Have a good day my friend.

Regards,

Alan

    Thank you Alan!

But what if there are multiple senders from the same domain?

So if there's ******@xxx.dk and ******@xxx.dk and multiple others who are sending an email to the shared inbox. How do I specify that all emails regardless of who sent them and as long as they're from the domain xxx.dk, they should be moved to the folder?

Do I just add in "@xxx.dk" in "specific words in the senders address" or what are your suggestions?

    I appreciate your fast response!

    Hi DKK_99,

I am here to reply to your post with much pleasure.

As for your requirement, you only need to know how to create an inbox rule in shared mailbox to move the emails from the specific sender "******@xxx.dk" to the created folder "XXX". The inbox rule should be like " if the message is from ******@xxx.dk and the recipient is the shared mailbox. move the message to XXX".

For creating the inbox rule in a shared mailbox, you can refer to https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Add-rules-to-a-shared-mailbox-b0963400-2a51-4c64-afc7-b816d737d164 (Outlook On the Web).

If anything is unclear, please feel free to let me know and I will be pleased to further assist you.

    Regards,

    Alan
