Regarding VPN Gateway: There are SKUs (eg VPNGw2) where one can choose Gen 1 or Gen 2, but there seems to be no mention of a price difference on the Pricing Page or Calculator. Can you deploy either at the same price?

Hello experts,

When creating a VPN gateway, there is the option to select Gen 1 or 2.

The Pricing page: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/vpn-gateway/ doesn’t seem to have any mention of different pricing.
nor does the Pricing Calculator seems to have any option to select one or the other and see how that choice affects pricing… (which implies cost will be the same regardless of Gen 1 or 2)

However, the table from the above benchmark link does seem to indicate there is a difference in performance. (which would imply Gen2 should cost more, why would anyone choose Gen 1 if the cost is the same….?)

Could an expert please confirm if there is a price difference for these SKUs below if choosing Gen 1 vs Gen 2?
for VPNGw2, VPNGw3, VPNGw2AZ, VPNGw3AZ

AND if there is a price difference, where can one go to confirm the cost difference?
