In PowerPoint Notes section, when typing sometimes blue and underline text appears!

The blue and underline text are appearing when using numbered points in the presenter's notes section below the slide, and they are not hyperlinks. They cannot be changed in the Font Section.

At a loss as to what to do, please help?

Hi John,

To better understand the situation from you side and help you do troubleshooting, could you please share a screenshot to describe the issue? You may use Windows + Shift + S to capture screenshots.

And I suggest you try opening PowerPoint app in safe mode,then open the presentation, see if issue still happens, narrow down if any add-in causes the issue.

1.Right click the Start button in Windows, click Run to open the Run box.

2.In the Run box, type powerpnt /safe, and click OK.

If issue persists, please also let us know your Office Version and Channel information. (check it via File>Account>Product Information)

    You can post a screenshot using the Insert image tool (circled bleow):

    If it's a double blue underline, it's PowerPoint trying to tell you it knows English better than you.

    Can you post a screenshot.

    I'm struggling to think of a way to get blue text in that area at all.
