All of a sudden my database has started closing immediately on start up.
It started this morning just fine. I closed it and opened another database. Then when I went back to it and it wanted to create a backup immediately. I created a backup. After a few attempts at creating backup the application finally opened.
This is not my master database with all 5000 forms and reports. If it was then I would suspect that I have exceeded the number of objects allowed by Access. But this database has only 650 forms and reports, and I am running it on a I7.
What is causing this? Thanks.

Thanks Madoc,
My database hasn't experienced the problem so far today. Keeping my fingers crossed that Tom's solution worked.
To answer your questions:
Office Professional 2019
V1909
Build 12026.20334
No error messages appeared, Access just started and immediately terminated. It then executed a Backup.
No problem with my master database, just a subset (Lite version). The Lite version was created from the master - I have
copied 373 tables, 421 reports into Lite from the master (2635 tables, 2903 forms, 1957 reports). Accomplished since August 25, 2019.
No 3rd party add-ins. No ActiveX controls.
This started on Monday, if I remember correctly. Before then, the Lite version worked just fine.

Thanks Tom.
I executed an Office Repair. Hopefully, it will work. I won't know for sure until I reboot in the morning.
Just in case something went wrong I backed up my databases to two different USB drives.
