    Hi Charlie,

A few of our employees received the exact same error and this MS License Removal Tool I found resolved the issue immediately. Give it a try and let us know the results.

    Hi Charlie

Do you have an active subscription to Office 365?

If so: go to http://www.office.com and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in

On that page under your info, check the status of your subscription to Office 365

If that checks out, click this link and run through the Office activation troubleshooter:

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/unlice...

EDIT, on a Mac, there is no Repair Option, Reinstalling Office may resolve this for you

    Hello Dan,

Appcleaner was the way I installed Office multiple times, as I know it removes all traces. I always use it.

Removing isn't the issue. Installing office 365, 2016 or any other gets stuck at "running package scripts".

Even the mac license removal tool spent al night trying to run the packages, but this morning still is stuck.

No idea what to do next.
