Word won't stop scrolling

Question

HI! 

Every time I open a word document it won't stop scrolling until it reaches the bottom of the document and whenever I try to scroll back up it does the same thing again. 

My software is up to date on my computer and word. 

(MacBook Pro. Date: Nov. 5th 2019)

Not to be pedantic, but "up to date" can mean several different combinations of ingredients, each with its own set of considerations :-) Please go to Word> About Microsoft Word in the main menu to determine the present Version of your Mac Office software. Include that in your reply as well as the release of macOS you're running it on.

Additionally, is this happening with one specific document or are all documents affected? Do you see similar behavior if you open the same document(s) in other programs"

What other details can you provide?

Have you verified that your keyboard is not the cause of such displacement? Try trying another keyboard.

if this does not work try uninstalling and reinstalling your MS Office
