One Drive lost my file changes and downloaded the file I deleted last week. Why?

I have experienced the same recently. I update a date within a text file every day, and yesterday I found that the file I have been updating reverted to Thursday 8th August.... and my corrections yesterday have also been reverted. The File History is wrong, it says I updated the file, but back to the 8ths version, when I know 100% that the file had been corrected and saved.

I'm going to save a local backup now, since One Drive is totally FUBARed.

Roll back and get your files back. I retrieved my lost files following the link:

    Hi Shichao

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. Since you are an Office 365 Home subscriber, you can restore your Onedrive to a point in time to recover your file changes.
