Hello,
I am attempting to run a power query using a sharepoint folder. I am not able to drill down to a specific folder, so the I am pulling all the data from the sharepoint site. The data that comes in is incomplete, and the folder I need is missing. Any suggestions as to how I can get all of the data to come through?
Thanks,
Danielle

Hi Qing,
I ran the Power Query using the Get & Transform Data on the ribbon. I chose get data, from file, from a SharePoint folder. When I entered the URL, if I tried to drill down, I received this message:
Unable to Connect:
Details: "Microsoft.Mashup.Engine1.Library.Resources.HttpResource: Request failed:
OData Version: 3 and 4, Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. (Not Found)
OData Version: 4, Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. (Not Found)
OData Version: 3, Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. (Not Found)"
I was able to enter the root URL, and it pulled only the folders starting at the letter 'G'. All of the permissions are the same on all of the folders.
This my first time using the query with SharePoint.
Thanks,
Danielle
Hi Danielle,
Thanks for posting the question on our forum.
According to your description, I need to confirm if you store the power query on SharePoint folder, but you can’t access to the subfolder.
If so, to narrow down the issue, I want to collect the following information for further analysis:
