Hyperlinks not Pasting Correctly

Hello,

I've never had this happen before, and I don't understand why it is happening.  I'm Word 2016 on Windows 10.  In the past when I paste a hyperlink it turns blue and becomes active, like this:  The Founders Constitution.  Instead it is doing this:  { HYPERLINK "www.test.com" }

I can't figure out how to make Word go back to the way it used to deal with Hyperlinks and Google isn't helping.

    Hello! I am an Independent Advisor, I would love to help you out!

    Could you look at the following setting and make sure that it is checked?

    Click File > Options > Proofing.

    Click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.

    Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box

    Also when you paste a hyperlink in word and then press enter, does it change to the correct format then?
