Error Code 0xD0000002 When Trying to Activate Microsoft Powerpoint on MacBook Air

Hi,

I received this Error Code 0xD0000002 when I was trying to activate Microsoft Powerpoint on MacBook Air.

Please advise.

Hi jaMa485,

Sorry for the inconvenience the issue causes. 

Regarding the error message, you might see this error when you try to activate Office for Mac

To narrow down this issue I suggest you try the following steps:

1.Make sure the internet is working on the Mac you're trying to install on.

  1. Quit out of all Office apps.

3.Download and run the License removal tool to remove all the Office keychain entries. and then simply reopen Microsoft Office program and log in again.

  1. Start any Office app again and follow the activation prompts.

If are you using an office 365 subscription or an Office 2019, there is a possibility that there is another license keep on reflecting on your account or embedded on the machine.

>> Install the License Removal Tool

>> Re-open your Word application >> Get Started >> Sign in the associated Microsoft account
