Microsoft Visual Basic & Unexpected Error (485)

Not able to provide too much information here but I'm downloading an Excel file from a massive corporation's website for data input, and am unable to save my input at all. Instead of saving the same prompt "Microsoft Visual Basic - Ok" opens roughly 10 times as I hit Ok, and eventually stops with the file unsaved.

If i enable macros upon opening the file, every time I click or interact with the file in any way the same prompt occurs, followed by "Microsoft Visual Basic - Unexpected Error (485) - Ok.

Anyone have any idea what the issue is? Just to clarify, the file is completely unusable no matter whether I enable or disable macros at the beginning.

    Hi Jeganarayanan,

Thanks for your reply but in those discussions it seems the only advice was to check whether Excel was fully updated, and even then it doesn't seem there was ever a fix.

My Excel is updated and so is my Mac OS as you can see from these screenshots.

Interestingly enough, the second post you shared is using the same data file that I am.
