Dear team,

I'm looking a way to Untick > Register Teams as the chat app for Office (requires restarting Office applications) on Microsoft Team's Settings using PowerShell

or registerAsIMProvider in desktop-config.json

platform windows 10

Try to update the desktop-config.json but it would get automatically updated once teams restarts.

Please help me on this as I've playing this for weeks now .

Many thanks in advance

    @Rajive ,

    What is your coexistence mode?

    I searched many cmdlets of Microsoft Teams but didn’t find the related PowerShell script to unselect this option.

    From my experience, if you are in TeamsOnly mode, the default IM app should always be set as Teams even you unselect it in Teams client or delete the related registry key. I also test this in my lab. The result is the same as yours.
