Hi!

I have the same problem. I followed your instructions and deleted SaveAsAdobePDF.ppam, but I still have the problem! What should I do?

Contact Adobe for instructions on updating your Adobe software or removing it. Simply deleting their add-in won't accomplish a complete removal.

    Hi Aantoz,

May I know if you check the suggestions?  Do you still have the issue?

Feel free to share any update with us when you have time.

    Best regards,

    Hi Aantoz,

In the same path  ~/Library/Group Containers/UB48T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Startup.localized/Word, is there another Acrobat add-in "linkCreation.dotm"?

If yes, you may drag it to your desktop, then restart Word to check if the error message still appears.

I suggest you refer to the suggestion in this similar thread:

Microsoft Visual Basic Run-time error `53'

Besides, if you use Office 2016 for Mac, now the latest version is 16.16.15(19101400).

If you use Office 2019 for Mac or Office 365 for Mac, the latest version is 16.30(19101301).

I suggest updating Office to the latest version. You can update Office by clicking Help>Check for Updates.

(Note: if you cannot get the latest version, firstly update your AutoUpdate tool to version 4.16 via this link.)

If the issue persists, could you please help confirm information below? Thanks for your time and effort.

    1.The version of your MacOS.

2.I understand the error message pops up when you open Word app. When does the error start to appear? What changes have you done?

3.The current version of your Word app and Acrobat app.

    Best regards,

    Tina
