Excel doesn't show data in chart

Hello all,

I've got a serious problem after changing to office 365 after import from a csv file. When I select a certain range and click chart, I get this back.

As you see, the data is left aligned. When I double click in a cell and leave then the alignment change to right and the data is readable for the chart.

So far I figured out that the format is somehow maybe text and after edit the cell its number? Well, I tried to just change the format of the cell. It doesn't work. I tried the error function but no errors in any cell. I also tried to copy this cells and paste values only. But without success, it keeps the same issue.

Please, I need urgent help. I've a huge table of data and I can't just click in each.

Thank you in advance

Andi

    Hi Maverick,

Can you try doing the following?

    1. Highlight the cells.
    2. Go to Data Tab
    3. Click on Text to Column
    4. Click on Finish

then afterwards, please try to set the format to numbers.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
