Hi M_691,
Thank you for your message in this forum.
I have read the information you provided carefully. According to your description, it seems that this issue occurs on all sections of all notebooks when you typed text directly into OneNote.
If so, I have also tested it on our side and I cannot reproduce the same situation as yours. Given this situation, I want to give you some suggestions below and hope that will help you:
- You can go to Windows Start > search OneNote and right-click > select App Settings > click Repair to check if the same problem will occur.(Note: please backup all your notebooks.)
- If the suggestion above doesn’t work, we’d suggest yougo to Windows Start > search OneNote and right-click > select App Settings > click Reset to check if the same problem will occur.
- You can also change another browser to check if you can use Immersive Reader normally in OneNote Online.
If the problem persists after you tried the suggestions above, to narrow down this issue, I want to confirm the information below with you:
- May I know if all those notebooks were created in OneNote for Windows 10 application? You can go to OneNote Online and created a new notebook to check if you can use Immersive Reader normally. If so, you can click Open in OneNote to check if the same problem will occur.
- Do all the other Office applications have the same problem? You can go to Word > View > click Learning Tools under Immersive to check if the same problem will occur.
- You mentioned “I'm having the same problem”, does this mean that some pages in all your notebooks can use Immersive Reader normally but some can't?
- Do you have an Office 365 subscription?
Best Regards,
Sukie
