Validation List dropdown disappeared

Question

Hi, I have a file with some validation drop downs that suddenly disappeared.

Weird thing is if you right click on a cell where a dropdown supposed to be, and click in the option "Pick from a drop down list", it offers you an approximated set of options that supposed to be there, in a drop down list.

I tried copying in a new tab, a new file and saving in different formats but it didn't work.

I see the same error in both Mac and Windows computers.

In attachment a screenshot so you can see the problem, left side is the previous version with the pulldown (you can see the selection arrow in the corner).. on the right side, the same file without the pulldowns, but with the right click.

Please feel free to ask me whatever you can find useful, because i really need your help... this is the third time it happens and i need to spend a lot of time recreating all the drop-downs.

What happens if you select one of the cells that should have a validation dropdown but hasn't, then click Data Validation on the Data tab of the ribbon? What does the dialog show?
