Problems with PowerPivot

Hello,

I have a data table in a spreadsheet and some pivots driven from this.

I have gone into the file today to have a look at them and when I try to refresh them, or even view the filters, I get the following message:

I have rebuilt the data table in a complete new file, saved it as a .xlsm and then set up a new pivot table but when I click on "add this data to the Data model" and hit OK, I get the same message as above!

I am running the latest office 365 version and have Powerpivot enabled.

I have never seen this before and everything I seem to do to try and fix it is in vain.

Any ideas?

Thanks

    Hi Simon,

The Picture icon is where I highlight in screenshot.

Do you mean you can't use PivotTable in a new workbook with a blank table? If so, the problem was the Excel application itself.

    Hi Simon,

Just do an easy test to figure out if the issue caused by Excel application or the content of table.

1.Create a new workbook and a blank table.

2.Click Insert > PivotTable, and then check Add this data to the Data Model in the Create PivotTable dialog box.

If the feature works well, the problem is associated with the content, if the issue still happen in the new workbook Please capture a screenshot of your File > Account page for further help. (Please mask personal information on the screenshot to protect your privacy).

    Regards,

    Eric
