Hide pointer by default

Hi,

I am using office 2019 for Mac. When using presenter view, by default, the pointer shows up on my slideshow when I hover anywhere over the current slide preview on the presenter view.

I know that if I right click the current slide preview and go to “pointer > hidden” It will hide the pointer from showing on my slideshow. That works.

But every time I end the show and return to presenter view the pointer is visible again.

Is there anyway to hide the pointer by default?

Hi kidfromkrypton,

The pointer does autohide as soon as the show begins, but anymovement of the pointing device causes it to reappear. If you leave the pointing device unmoved for 3 seconds the pointer hides again on Mac according to this article.
