VBA  loadpicture(filePath) function returns file/path access error

Is there workaround, patch, or need to downgrade to previous version?

Hello Vijay and thanks for fast reply

    WinVer is 1903 Build 18362.295

In the meantime its started to work (same app, same code), but I'm still doubting what can go wrong.

We have few hundreds users that uses this piece of code on different machines and version of Windows and Excel. Until now, the problem related to bug in MS Office was observed only once (for 10 years)

    Hi there,

I just got this post by Google because I am also running in the same error. (Number "75") when I try to Access a path in a share.

Could you please tell me if this patch is still relevant?

My winver says: ver 1903 Build 18362.418

I can't find this KB_Update on my machine.

Is there a possible solution to get loadpicture working again?

Thank you very much for your help!

There is a known issue going on KB4512508 (OS Build 18362.295) related to VB6 & VBA which has got installed for you. If problem reappears, uninstall and block this update (KB4512508).

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/releas...

    Uninstall

Windows Key + R > Type: appwiz.cpl > Enter > Click View installed updates > Select the required updates, right click, uninstall.

    Block

Microsoft has provided a tool Show/Hide Updates tool to block the update

Download the tool from below link

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f2...

When you run this troubleshooter, it will search for available updates and list them

Select the update which you want to hide. Click Next and follow on-screen directions

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help.
