Error recording power point presentation

Question

Hi,

I am trying to record my power point presentation using the 'Slideshow -> Record Slide Show -> Record from current slide' option. I get the recording screen with start, stop, pause and all color options. I click on the record button and then it shows the counts 3, 2, 1. Then i try to record my audio and click to Stop. But i get error pop-up saying that "An error occurred with the recording. Please try again later!".

My hardware details:

Surface Pro 3

64 bit

128 GB Memory

4GB RAM

My Software Details:

Windows 10

Office 365 Home

Power Point

Things I tried to get rid of this error:

• Updated office
• Restarted surface after closing all applications
• Tried recording at different times around 2 weeks
• Called Microsoft Customer care

None of the above resolved the issue. Kindly help me.
