Syntax Error in UPDATE statement

Hi,

I am trying to upload a text file via the import wizard to Access, Usually I follow the steps and import is successful but as soon as I click on the file in my explorer I get the spinning cog for a few seconds and then the error message.

I have googled it and cant seem to find the solution, usually happens to folks when writing their own SQL code,

Any help would be great.  I am using MSAccess2003 and my colleague MSAccess2010 and both of us are having the same issue,

Many Thanks in Advance

    Hi Tom,

A visual basic window pops up with the message

    code execution has been interrupted

there is no option to press debug, just continue, end and help.

Any ideas of what might be wrong

What happens when you hit Ctrl+Break at that point? Do you break into the debugger?

I see my snip didn't post.  Its just an error box with the subject of this threat as the error.

That's exactly my issue.  I don't have a syntax running.  I follow the usual steps in the import wizard and then I get this

I am selecting the file TXT and CSV, have tried both, both errors.  I'm not sure what you mean when you ask What would be running while I am selecting the file.  Nothing else is running in the background if that's what you mean.

Hmm, what syntax statement?  What would be running while you are selecting the file?  What format is the file you are selecting in?  TXT, XLS or?
