How do i get and install the office XML handler in my laptop ? 

pls guide me on this asap.

    Since XML editor is set as default application, but i need office xml handler has to be set as default.

    i have tried to change it through control panel, but unable get through. 

    as well as i have tried to change in xml file properties also, unable to change it.

    So kindly assist me asap.

    Thanks for your query in this community.

    You are using the correct method of trying to change the default application to open XML file. But per your description, you failed in doing so.

    Could you provide us with more details on it? Did you receive an error message? Or it can't be opened via Office XML handler?

    Hi GH_63,

    Office XML Handler is the display name of MSOXMLED.EXE, which should be available in C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\OFFICE15 or C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE15, depending on the version of your operating system.
