Logitech Keyboard Shortcut Bug

Hello, I own a 12.9 older gen iPad pro (my apple pencil plugs into the lightning port) with a slim combo logitech keyboard which has a ctrl, alt/option, and cmd button on the keyboard. I opened up word and started typing away and all of a sudden I added paragraph markings and deleted my entire entire document. Pressing cmd+z did not undo, I had to manually go and press the undo button on my screen. The fix was relatively simple, I closed and reopened the app and it worked as normal again. But before I did that I went through all the letter keys on the keyboard to find out what they did, here are a few of my findings. p=move cursor up. d=delete in the sense you delete what’s in front of the cursor. f=move cursor forward. There was one key that deleted anything in the current paragraph that came after the cursor position. So these shortcuts obviously exist, but I have seen no documentation on how to use them. How can I figure out how to do these shortcuts when my keyboard is working properly?

    Hi Parker,

For us to be able to isolate the cause of your concern, we would like to know if the issue occurs to other Office applications such as Excel or PowerPoint.

In the meantime, you can check this article if you the same shortcut keys can be used on your end.

Please respond to this thread to let me know how the issue progresses. Similarly, if you have more questions, please inform me by replying to this post.

    Hello Ma. Lau,

I’m not sure if the issue occurs in other Office applications as I really only use Word on my iPad, and occasionally Excel. I have not encountered this issue in Excel yet.

However, the bug isn’t too much a concern of mine. I am more interested in the shortcuts. The shortcuts contained in that article do work, but those are not all the shortcuts that can be used and I would love to see documentation for those shortcuts as well. Particularly since I have been unable to reproduce the shortcut that added the paragraph markings. I assume it has something to do with the ctrl key because all the shortcuts I listed above occur when I do ctrl + “all the cases listed in the original statement”.

In short, is there more documentation I can see on shortcuts? Thanks!
