Hi Erwin,

Based on the description provided, I did test at our end. We’re sorry to convey this message for you that there is no way to directly upload the files or document to document library in SharePoint application. However, we have some workarounds to achieve your requirement.

Click Site Content

In the SharePoint mobile application, go to the site you want to upload to it. Click Site Content in your navigation menu, it will change to a website (the user interface likes you access site via browser), you can choose the library and click … button, you can see Upload and New button under it.

Using OneDrive application:

Open OneDrive application-> Click Libraries at the bottom of your screen, then select a SharePoint site -> select the document library, then you may upload your files.

Adding a Document Library Web app to the SharePoint site in the browser:

  1. Open your SharePoint site in a browser > click the Edit button at the top right of your site;
  2. In the Edit mode, move your cursor to the place where you want to add the web app;
  3. Click the round "+" sign > select Document library from the list -> select the document library that you want to connect to this web part;
  4. Click Publish at the top right of the site page to save the settings.
  5. After you added the Document Library Web App, you may go to the SharePoint mobile application and open the site, then browse to the web part in home page to use the upload feature.

We appreciate all your understanding and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further concern.

Regards,

Ivy

    Hi Ivy,

    sorry for the late reply, I'm just came back from vacation. Anyways, I have followed all the steps and its working using the site contents instead of uploading directly to the Documents Library. Hopefully  in the future we can upload directly to the library and eliminate the extra steps. For now we're using your suggestion and appreciated your help.

    Thank you very much and keep it up!

    Erwin
